Border (Swedish: Gräns) is a 2018 Swedish fantasy film directed by Ali Abbasi with a screenplay by 7 Dec 2018 That's the setup behind Grans (Border), a quietly eerie offering from way he treated vampires in his novel and screenplay for that film as well. A border guard (Eva Melander) with a sixth sense for identifying smugglers develops a strange attraction to a suspect (Eero Milonoff) who is the first she has been unable to prove guilty.The ensuing investigation soon calls into question her entire existence, as she is forced to confront terrifying revelations about herself and mankind. 2018-05-10 Border guard Tina is extraordinarily good at spotting smugglers. One day, a suspicious-looking man steps off the ferry. Unable to identify what he’s hiding, she becomes obsessed with him and the disturbing aura he exudes.

This film was incredible. If you liked the original Let The Right One In, do yourself a favor and see this movie.

Tina works in border control in a remote part of Sweden, near both water and woods. She doesn't look like anyone else. Her facial features have a catlike element, her teeth are whetted, her brown hair is bedraggled.
